Today I made a smoothie from that I thought was really tasty. It uses two superfoods (maca powder and lucuma powder), along with pecans, dates, and a pear. I used coconut milk for my liquid since I just made a fresh batch yesterday and I really liked the flavor it brought to the smoothie. If you like your smoothies cold, you'll have to add ice. I'll share the recipe I made and the original one for you to look at. Enjoy!

Cookie Dough Smoothie (1 serving)

1/8 cup pecans

1/8 cup pitted dates (I used 1 large and 1 small Medjool date)

1 pear, cored and peeled

1T lucuma powder

1/2t maca powder

3/4 cup coconut milk, unsweetened

1T cacao nibs

Blend all ingredients except cacao nibs in blender until smooth and creamy. Add cacao nibs and blend until coarsely chopped. If you want to use ice, add it with the cacao nibs.
