Debbie's Day Four:
Yesterday I ran out of apple tarts so I had to do something a little different for breakfast and I could really tell because I was hungrier than I've been over the last three days. (I made sure to make some more so I could have some later). I made the Superfood Smoothie we shared before on our site but omitted the cacao and honey for this cleanse. Let's just say, it was very green! I didn't even add any additional sweetener to it so if you're wanting to try it, you might want to add your own. I used a whole frozen banana and that was enough sweetener for me.
I had a really good visit with some friends I've just recently met and I served them one of the apple tarts I made this morning and they both loved it! It's always reassuring when others enjoy what you've prepared. I even put a dollop of banana ice cream on top for them and for me too! I couldn't resist not eating one with them. I didn't go to the gym today but got my exercise shoveling some snow. That was plenty for me for the day!
I'm still working on the crepes and pancakes for a better texture so I'll share the recipes for those soon.
Here's how my day went:
Breakfast: Large cup of hot water with lemon, apple cider vinegar and cayenne plus one ounce aloe vera juice
Brunch: Moderated Superfood Smoothie
Lunch: Two crepes with blueberry filling
Snack: A cup of mixed nuts with raisins and cranberries
Supper: Two raw pancakes with almond butter and raw apple butter
Snack: Apple Caramel Tart
Several cups of green tea and yerba mate plus a hot cup of peppermint tea in the evening

Kristy’s Day Four:
I wasn’t very hungry most of the day. And I felt a little groggy about mid-day, but I feel better now. Everyone around me is getting sick, so I plan on taking some oregano oil tonight and eating some more soups with raw garlic.
Breakfast: fruit salad with pecans and shredded coconut, hot water w/lemon and apple cider vinegar
Snack: 2 clementines, trail mix, black coffee
Lunch: kale slaw with grapefruit and some trail mix
Snack: carob brownie and banana chips
Supper: fig smoothie, carob brownie, 2 clementines, 1 ring of pineapple
