Debbie's Day Three:

Today, I really felt the affects of this cleanse. I don't think I have ever gone to the bathroom (and I don't mean urinating) as much as I did today! Totally invigorating!!!! Your bowel movements really change when eating all raw. They will become softer and lighter in color and you definitely don't have trouble with constipation. Now, enough of the yucky stuff (although it's really not yucky but cleansing). I can already tell the difference in my skin and the energy I feel throughout the day. I am loving this simpler way of eating and trying to create some recipes only using a few ingredients. I made some crepes today and had them after supper. They were fantastic, but I will share that recipe with you on next week's video. I'm still experimenting with the filling so I'll be making them again. I was gone most of the day today so I didn't eat much until supper. I've been so busy lately, I forget to eat sometimes. I don't realize how late it is, and I rarely feel hungry. But I actually started feeling hungry right before the gym, so I grabbed some banana chips to much on. Eating the apple tart in the morning has really kept me feeling full for most of the day. It has been amazing how filling and lasting that tart is! Here's how my day went:

Breakfast: Large cup of hot water with lemon, cayenne, apple cider vinegar

Brunch: Apple Tart with a hot cup of matcha tea

Snack: Banana Chips

Supper: Large Salad with ranch dressing

Snack: Two crepes with a blueberry filling and banana ice cream

Exercise: Ran 3.2 miles on the treadmill

Several cups of green tea and yerba mate during the day plus I've been drinking 1-2 ounces of aloe vera juice each day. Supposed to be really good for the colon.

 

Kristy’s Day Three:

I just realized that I ate a lot of liquid meals today, but I don’t feel deprived.  Having an apple tart and banana ice cream to finish off the day sure helps!   I felt really good today.  I ran three miles tonight and still feel full of energy.  Here’s how today rolled:

Breakfast: papaya, banana, and raspberry smoothie, hot water w/lemon and apple cider vinegar

Snack: trail mix, banana, black coffee

Lunch: leftover spinach soup and beet salad, 2 clementines

Snack: carob brownie, banana chips, trail mix

Supper: mushroom soup with kelp noodles and walnuts

Dessert: apple tart with banana ice cream

Workout: ran three miles and finished up on the spinning bike to cool down
