This easy snack has become one of my favorites to make and eat. It only takes a few ingredients and a dehydrator. I like to keep these in a mason jar on top of my refrigerator for a quick snack. I've also eaten them as a cereal with milk but I prefer to eat them by themselves without anything else. If you like quick, easy, and tasty, then these are for you!

Cocoa Munchies

1 cup buckwheat groats, soaked

2 1/2T pure maple syrup (We used grade b)

2 1/2T coconut nectar

2T cacao powder

1t vanilla

1/2t sea salt

Soak buckwheat groats for at least 30 minutes. Rinse and drain well. Add to mixing bowl along with rest of the ingredients. Stir well. Place on mesh dehydrator sheet lined with parchment paper. Dehydrate at 145 for 30 minutes to one hour. Stir the mixture again so all the chocolate is mixed in. Turn down dehydrator to 115 degrees and dehydrate until very crispy and crunchy. I like to leave them in for about 12-13 hours. Break up in pieces and store in glass mason jar.
